Anti-Asian hate crimes spike at unprecedented rate in US

Violent attacks and hate crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the US have spiked recently.

According to the Asian American group “Stop AAPI Hate”, roughly 11,500 hate incidents have been reported from March 19, 2020, to March 31, 2022.
